Bond Reduced For Mickey Snow In Child Prostitution Case
WENTWORTH, NC -- A Rockingham County man accused of paying to have sex with teenagers has been given permission to leave the state for medical reasons and has had his bond lowered.
Mickey Snow, 76, is charged with six counts of patronizing a prostitute, six counts of second degree forcible sex offense, six counts of sex offense with a person 15 or younger and six counts of promoting prostitution.
Snow lead authorities on an international manhunt in 2015 when the investigators say he fled the country to avoid arrest. He was arrested in Bangkok on November 3, 2015. He then returned to Rockingham County.
Snow bonded out of jail almost immediately after his arrest. He was put on house arrest and wears an ankle monitor.
On Friday, a judge reduced Snow's bond from $25 million to $15 million, which Snow posted. He's been released and was ordered to wear an ankle monitor.
