Guilford County Deputy Injured in Crash: Officials

A Guilford County Sheriff's Deputy was involved in a wreck with one other vehicle on Millstream Road on Tuesday evening.

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- A Guilford County Sheriff's Deputy was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Whitsett, officials said. 

The crash happened on Millstream Street beside Lab Corp offices just after 6 p.m.

Officials say the driver of a Chevy Impala pulled out of the business quickly and the deputy didn't have enough time to slow down, causing the two vehicles to crash.

The deputy and the driver of the Impala were both sent to the hospital. 

Officials say both of them have some broken bones but their injuries are not life-threatening.
