Harmonies of hope ring through Kernersville

It's a virtual choral concert that has nearly 160 people throughout the school system celebrating through music.

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — It is the brainchild of music teacher Adam Mitchell but soon you will hear what he calls a celebration of our culture through the voices of kids and educators.

"We worked long and hard on this idea. Several schools and their choirs coming together to sing songs virtually," said Mitchell, "But soon we had not only students but teachers, staff, and even the superintendent of Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools.

The idea is one thing but getting the videos and audio to match when you have 155 people involved is not easy.

"I edited this myself and matching the videos and audio files from that many people took literally 100s of hours to put together but we believe the end result is incredible," said Mitchell.

The music video drops on Friday, May 14, 2021, on their YouTube channel.
