LAKELAND, Fla. — A Publix brand of artichoke and spinach dip is being recalled after it was discovered bits of glass could be in the product.

Publix announced its 16 oz. Deli Artichoke and Spinach Dip is being voluntarily recalled due to the 'possibility of the product containing small glass fragments,' according to a release on its website.

The dip was sold in Publix stores in North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee. The product's UPC is 000-41415-15961, and has a use-by-date of May 16 A1 and May 16 C1,which is printed on the lid of the container. The dip is found in the refrigerated cases in the deli section.
