One word – RIBS! This weekend get ready to chow down on some of the best ribs around at the Twin City Ribfest. It’s a weekend full of BBQ and music at the event held in Winston-Salem. Just head to 401 W. Fifth Street. The festival runs from June 1 – 4.

Dinosaurs are taking over Greensboro with Jurassic Quest. The event takes places this weekend at the Greensboro Coliseum. Jurassic Quest features more than 80 ultra-realistic life-size dinosaurs. You can embark on a prehistoric journey from the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods. Visitors can walk among the life-like dinosaurs, ride dinosaurs, and even dig up dinosaur bones.

If you love ice cream then you’ll want to head out to the Clemmons Ice Cream Festival this weekend. The event features ice cream, kids’ crafts, scavenger hunts, face painting, Wake Forest Women’s Basketball Team, farmers’ booths and so much more. The Clemmons Ice Cream Festival takes place Saturday, June 3 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Clemmons Elementary School.

Spend an afternoon in Paris without ever leaving Greensboro! Check out the Parisian Promenade this weekend featuring French food, beer and wine, live music, poodle parade, aerial artists, kids’ art activities and more! The Parisian Promenade takes place Sunday, June 4 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden located at 1105 Hobbs Road in Greensboro. Admission is free.

Greensboro’s Sunday Evening in the Park (MUSEP) Concert Series returns for its 38th season. The concert series features local artists every Sunday from June to the End of August at parks throughout the city. Wally West Little Big Band plays June 4 at 6:00 p.m. at the Blandwood Mansion located at 447 West Washington Street. Admission is free.
