'Greensboro Strong' Tees Helping Tornado Relief

You can get a tee-shirt with a minimum donation of $25 to the IRC. Every single penny will go toward tornado relief in our city.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Our neighbors are picking up the pieces after the April 15 tornado, but one thing is for sure - this community is Greensboro Strong.

That's why the Interactive Resource Center is selling tee-shirts with the phrase 'Greensboro Strong' for $25. Every single penny will go toward tornado relief in our city.

Christina Singleton, IRC Director of Community Engagement, says they've sold 40 tee-shirts so far and raised more than $2,300 as of Tuesday for tornado recovery.

When you donate online, just check the box saying you want a 'Greensboro Strong' tee-shirt. You'll get an email asking for your size.

You cannot have your tee-shirt shipped to you - you have to go to the IRC on East Washington Street to pick it up.

Singleton says they are waiting on a shipment of tee-shirts that will hopefully be in by Wednesday, and donors will be notified when they can come get their shirts.
