DAVIDSON COUNTY, NC - Two men have been arrested in Davidson County after lawn mowers and utility trailers were stolen from multiple places across the county, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies said trailers and mowers were missing from multiple retail establishments and homes in both Davidson County and surrounding areas.

This is still an active investigation, but so far investigators say the stolen property was either sold or traded to friends or through advertisements on social media.

Investigators received a tip and later found a Bad Boy Maverick Zero Turn Mower with the serial number removed on the property of Harold Wayne Bowden.

Both Bowden and Edward Lee Beaty were charged with Felony Possession of Stolen Property, Possess/Buy/Sell Property with an Altered Serial Number, as well as multiple other charges.

So far Three Zero Turn Mowers, seven utility trailers and one side-by-side utility terrain vehicle have been recovered.

Beaty is facing a $50,000 secured bond and Bowden has a $5,000 bond.
