ALAMANCE COUNTY, NC - A Yanceyville man is in custody after breaking into and robbing multiple businesses in Alamance County, according to deputies.

The Alamance County Sheriff's Office has been investigating a string of break-ins between April 25 and May 21 in 2017.

Deputies said the break-ins were similar in that the method of entry was throwing a rock or brick through the front door. After the suspect got inside they would steal cash and cigarettes.

On Wednesday Joshua Robert King, 31, was arrested for five counts of Breaking and Entering, five counts of Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and two counts of Felony Damaging Computers.

The break-ins were in the northern part of the county including convenience stores, a tire store, and a beauty salon.

King is in custody in Orange County.
