GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. - 30-year-old Jerel Lee turned himself in at the Guilford County detention center Sunday night in connection with a deadly hit-and-run that occurred over the weekend.
Lee, who's being charged with felony hit-and-run, is out of jail on a $25,000 bond.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol started an investigation after a neighbor found a body off of McKnight Mill Road.
Troopers identified the victim as Joshua Antoine Baker, 26. They believe Baker was walking home from his job at Wendy's around 2 a.m. Sunday when a car crashed into him and drove off.
Troopers said a man who lives near the area of the crash found Baker's body in a ditch around 10:00 Sunday morning.
Troopers believe Baker was walking in the road when he was hit by the car.

Investigators say the car was a silver Toyota, and a right side mirror was found at the scene.
