Police say Trull robbed a Family Dollar on Meadowview Road with a knife first. He then ran over to the Boost Mobile on South Elm-Eugene Street and tried to drag a woman out of her car and steal it.

Police say the woman screamed and fought the man to protect her children who were in the back seat of the car. Someone nearby saw what was happening and helped fight off the man.

Police say Trull then ran to a gas station and stole a car that was left running unattended. Police say Trull then robbed a Pita Delight on West Gate City Blvd.

Police say they were able to arrest Mr. Trull after an employee at Urban Ministry was able to identify him in surveillance video.

Trull is charged with three counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and one count of Attempted Robbery.

Trull is currently in the Guilford County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
