GREENSBORO, NC - Three people were arrested by Greensboro Police after stealing an amplifier speaker and putting it in a fountain at Center City Park.

According to police, two people were moving music equipment on N. Elm St. when three strangers, William Cartegena, Charles Sneed, and Kynnice Tyson, offered their help.

While the three were helping move the equipment, they forcibly stole the amplifier and then ran away. Police said they were soon found by officers and were arrested.

All three are charged with Common Law Robbery, Injury to Personal Property, and Conspiracy.

The speaker was later found in the fountain.
