Two Men Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges In Mt. Airy

Officers developed probable cause and issued a search warrant at a home located at 226 New Crosswinds Dr. Mount Airy, NC on Tuesday, May 5, 2018.

MT. AIRY, NC -- Two Mount Airy men were arrested on multiple drug charges in an investigation that included the Surry County Sheriff’s Office, Mount Airy Police, and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.

According to the Surry County Sheriff’s office, officers developed probable cause and issued a search warrant at 226 New Crosswinds Dr. Mount Airy, NC on Tuesday, May 5, 2018.

Inside the house, officers found Christopher Williams, 30, and Corey Johnson, 31.

After the two were detained, narcotics investigators searched the house and found 177 grams of methamphetamines, 3.5 grams of cocaine and marijuana, 18 clonazepam pills, $2,077, a handgun, and drug paraphernalia.

No one was injured or harmed during the arrests.

-1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
