GREENSBORO, N.C. — With students returning back to in person learning soon Guilford County Schools and the staff at Western Guilford High School's Signature Career Academy have some pretty cool things waiting to be unveiled.

According to Greg Newlin, Principal at Western Guilford, this program is about way more than having fun and appealing to students.

"Well the goal of course is to have them life ready. To accept those high demand, high wage jobs. That are in our corridor. Greensboro is a corridor for logistics already."

These pathways allow student to graduate high school with certifications that make them immediately eligible for jobs paying starting around $38,000.
