GREENSBORO, NC – No more moving presents out of the way EVERY DAY to check the water for your Christmas tree.
No more forgetting to water the tree and then being surprised it’s all dried up. The Evergreen Elf promises to change all that.
The elf is battery operated and sits on your tree stand. It has a sensor and a probe you can adjust for the water level. When the water gets low, the elf tells you, “water low, water low.”
2WTK is testing the Evergreen Elf. We started with a live tree Tuesday before Thanksgiving and we’ll see when the elf tells us to refill. You can check out more on the Evergreen Elf, which is $23 and was created by a Winston-Salem man.
