And if you're looking to make some extra money on those old devices, you're in luck. The following companies all offer buyback programs for old electronics:
- Apple's GiveBack program will pay up to $1,000 in the form of an Apple gift card for certain products.
- Sprint offers up to $300 in credit for old mobile devices, no matter where they came from.
- Amazon will pay just over $200 in gift cards for almost any kind of electronics you have. That includes things like CDs and video games.
- Office Depot and Staples offer $2 credits up to 10 times a month for ink cartridges, if you're a member of their affinity programs.
