GREENSBORO — A 16-year-old pointed a BB gun at a Guilford County Schools bus Wednesday morning according to Greensboro Police.

GPD says Tyequan Davenport pointed a gun at a bus when it was stopped near Arbor Drive and Everitt Street in Greensboro at 7:23 a.m. No shots were fired and it isn't known if the bus had stopped to let students on.

The bus was carrying students to Hampton Elementary School. GPD Public Information Officer Susan Danielsen says police are interviewing the suspect to learn more.

Nora Shoptaw with Guilford County Schools said no students were injured and all made it to school safely. It isn't known how many students were on the bus at the time.
