DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — The state has identified a Davidson County man found dead months after his disappearance.
The State Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Bradley Shoaf of Lexington. Shoaf was found in a home near Black Sawmill Road and Ridge Road on May 8 when officers were called to the home.
Shoaf, 32, was reported missing on Jan. 14. He was last seen around Ridge Road and Bud Sink Road on Jan. 12.
Investigators didn't observe any evidence of foul play. They say due to the body's condition, they will wait for the full autopsy report for manner and cause of death from the State’s Medical Examiner’s Office.
