FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.--- Carlos Tirado and his family had to evacuate when floodwaters rose quickly in their neighborhood early Sunday morning. As floodwaters receded, they returned Monday to survey the damage and found televisions, other items had been stolen from their house.

Tirado told WFMY News 2's Meghann Mollerus, "my backdoor was open and my flat TV was gone. We looked in my little’s boy’s room. That TV was gone, too. Kind of crazy how peoples works."

Tirad said all the material stuff mean nothing but his wife and child do and they're okay.

But I lose only three percent because the other percent is my boy and my wife. I don’t care about anything else, but to do something like that, come on!
