RALEIGH - An internet network outage in central North Carolina has forced approximately 35 driver license and license plate agency offices to suspend services.

The N.C. Department of Transportation said in a news release that Division of Motor Vehicles officials were told by Time Warner Business Services that crews are working to repair major fiber optic cable that was cut on Thursday.

NCDOT said Time Warner/Spectrum has given no estimate when service to the affected DMV offices will be re-established.
