You can enjoy jazz music, create your own instruments, and enjoy delicious fare from food trucks this Sunday at Greensboro's newest botanical garden.

Greensboro Beautifuland the City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department are hosting an event called "Groovin' in the Gardens: Jazz at Gateway Gardens." This is the premiere event and it is completely free.

This is a day of fun for the whole family. You can create instruments from recycled materials and take them home. If your kids ever asked what it would be like to play a violin or trombone, they can find out in the instrument "petting zoo."

Gateway Gardens is located on East Lee St. within a half-mile of Business 40 and I-85. The exact address is 2924 East Lee St. near Barber Park and across from Gateway University Research Park. The event is from noon to 5p.m. and free for all.
