GREENSBORO, NC --  Can you believe it, the Fourth of July is just two months away which means its time to talk 'Fun Fourth'! Greensboro's annual independence day event is making some changes this year and want you involved!

So this morning, Zack Matheny and Bethany Fields with Downtown Greensboro Inc joined Tracey McCain on the Good Morning Show  to talk about what's coming up!

Fun Fourth is presented by Allegacy Federal Credit Union. On July 3rd, the Freedom Run and race (now with 5k) kicks off the festival with the American Block Party from 7pm – 11pm with food trucks and Liquid Pleasure headlining. On July 4th, the Street Festival is from 1pm – 8pm with food and craft vendors, interactive amusements including mechanical bull, 30’ water slide, laser tag, road tennis, 5 stages and fun for the entire family. The Fireworks Extravaganza will feature the Dixieland Band and Greensboro Concert Band at First National Bank Field. Gates open at 6:30pm and Fireworks at 9pm.

An event this size means they need lots of help! There are lots of opportunities for people to get involved as performers, sponsors, vendors (non-food and food), and volunteers
