GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Fluid Student Ministries, a Triad-based youth group from Calvary Church in Greensboro is back for its second year with The Trail – An Apocalyptic Journey.
Youth Administrator and Fine Arts Coordinator Holly Davis describes the event as an evangelistic, outdoor trail with a cast and crew of over 50 people.
"There will be 14 scenes ripped right out of the Bible and the Book of Revelation," said Davis. “You will want to bring your friends to this heart pumping, eye popping, explosive and interactive trail.”
Davis says the trail has a PG-13 rating.
"There is gunfire, there is blood, there is some violence," said Davis. "The Book of Revelation is a very realistic graphic, so we tried to make it not too violent, not too scary, but still keeping it realistic in what the Book of Revelation actually talks about."
Davis says the church came up with the idea for a very specific reason.
"You have some many haunted houses out there so we wanted to do something for the teenagers, young adults and adults to give them a visual of what the Apocalypse could look like. And give them an opportunity to contemplate their eternal destiny."
The Trail – An Apocalyptic Journey is an outreach of Fluid Student Ministries at Calvary Church in Greensboro.
