GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Throughout the week, the Good Morning Show is highlighting great graduates who really stand out and went above and beyond!

Ngoc Diep Nguyen who's graduating from Ragsdale High School joined us on Monday morning.

She also attends Weaver Academy part-time.

It's no secret Ngoc's accomplished a lot, but here are a list of her achievements!

• National Center for Women in Information Technology (NCWIT) national award winner--2017
o cash prize, laptop, and other smaller prizes
• Future Business Leaders of America state competition in Mobile Application Development--1st Place--2017
o will compete at Nationals in June
• SkillsUSA state competition in Technical Math--2nd Place--2017
• CyberPatriot IX cybersecurity competition--3rd in NC Gold Division--2017
• FBLA national competition--Computer Problem Solving--10th Place--2016
• FBLA state competition in Computer Problem Solving--5th Place--2016
• National Technical Honor Society Scholarship--$1000--2017

Ngoc says the most important thing she learned in school is that education is a privilege many take for granted and that motivates her to value knowledge more.

Ngoc also says her next step is going to college. She will be attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Ngoc plans to get into the five-year master's program. Afterward, she hopes to get into a respected research institution and continue her study on computer science, specifically on artificial intelligence.
