GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A famous singer is home for the holidays and you can see her this weekend, performing on the same stage where she grew up.

Greensboro native Shelby J is headlining Smith High School's annual Holiday Gospel Fest this Saturday, December 3, 2016.

Shelby J graduated from Smith and has gone on to perform with Prince's New Power Generation Band and release her own solo projects as well.

The concert also features gospel performances from artists Paul Scott & One Way, Mike Astyn of the Mike Astyn Experience and The New Jerusalem Cathedral Dance Ministry.

Shelby J is returning home and to her alma mater for a command performance Saturday, December 3, 2016. The concert is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ben L. Smith Auditorium located at 2407 South Holden Road in Greensboro. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Click here to purchase tickets or for more information.
