GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Don't miss your chance to laugh, cry and celebrate that special time in a woman's life! Menopause The Musical is headed to Greensboro through Sunday, September 24, 2017.

One of the show's stars Donna J. Huntley joined WFMY News 2's Tracey McCain on the Good Morning Show to talk about all the excitement surrounding the production.

"We shouldn't be ashamed of it! What the show does is it gives you an opportunity to laugh at those special moments in our lives," said Huntley.

Huntley plays the Professional Woman in the show. She says there's a reason audiences keep coming back to see the production, now in its 16th year.

"One of the reasons that women keep coming back year after year after year is because if God-willing you're old enough to go through it, if you're not in it, you know somebody who is, and it's just a phase of life. And sometimes you have to laugh at it," said Huntley. "There are times when the audience will come back and say, 'I've seen this five times and every time I come back it's funnier and better that the last time.'"

Menopause The Musical is a celebration of women who are on the brink of, in the middle of, or have survived "The Change" and who are dealing with life adjustments after 40 by embracing each other and the road ahead.

Huntley says it's perfect hang out for the girls and guys will love the show too.

"The guys come in curious and they leave well-informed," said Huntley.
