A Thomasville man almost didn't buy what turned out to be a winning lottery ticket - worth $100,000!
Steven Hawkins said he didn't plan on buying a $5 Mega Bucks ticket when he stopped by the Raceway on South Main Street in High Point.
He says ..."I was just getting gas for my sister-in-law, and after I paid, I was about to walk out, but turned around and asked for the ticket."
The last minute decision turned out to be a good one.  After taxes he took home more than 69-thousand dollars. He says he plans to use the money to buy his dream home.
And this one for the coffee lovers out there.
First there was the Unicorn frap at Starbucks.  Well, that's history and now caffine crazed customers are clamoring for new concoctions.
A Starbucks spokersperson says their baristas can make as many as 36-thousand drinks with all the ingredients at each store.  Some loyal customers have come up with their own non-official Starbucks drinks and the word is out!
Now people are catching on to the new drinks.
Like the Dragon Frappuccino: That's a Green Tea Crème Frappuccino with vanilla bean powder and berry cup swirls.
Or the Narwhal: A Blended strawberry lemonade with vanilla bean powder and a dollop of whipped cream .
And the Mermaid: The base is a Pokemon Go Frappuccino. The drizzle is more complicated: eight pumps of white mocha, three pumps of toasted coconut, and three scoops of matcha powder, blended and swirled around the cup.
