GREENSBORO, NC -- When you think of Mother's Day you might think of mom's relaxing, taking a break from their daily motherly duties. But at one Triad restaurant that's far from true. The Moose Cafe located at the Piedmont Triad Farmer's Market employs many moms who are working on this holiday.
Owner Michelle Walker said Mother's Day is one of the cafe's busiest days. They're showing moms how much they care by offering each mother who comes in for a meal a flower. Walker, a mother of two, is working alongside many other moms.
Kayla Williams is celebrating her first Mother's Day this year - her son was born in January. Even though she was away from the four month old for the morning she served every customer with a smile.
Also looking on the bright side - Tiffany Revus - a mom of two little ones who says as a mother you 'gotta do what you gotta do' even if that does mean punching the clock on a day meant to celebrate you.
The Moose Cafe has been open for ten years and features big breakfast and homestyle, southern cooking. They're open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. every day of the week. You can find out more on their Facebook page.
