GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro Coliseum is ramping up security for a busy weekend.

The Coliseum installed 20 new walk-thru metal detectors.

Security will be top of mind when Tim McGraw and Faith Hill perform there Saturday, followed by the Foo Fighters Sunday, then the Eagles on Monday.

The new metal detectors have been in use for the last two weeks.

The Coliseum already had 12 metal detectors and 60 handheld scanners.

Coliseum workers are also preparing for increased traffic for the next few days.

The Coliseum is encouraging concert-goers to carpool and arrive at least one hour before show-time to cut down on traffic.

The UNCG parking lot located at the northeast corner of Gate City Blvd and Coliseum Blvd will be available for parking.
