Guilford Technical Community College is cancelling classes on its all its campuses until noon Wednesday due to a power outage. A tweet from the school's official twitter account has confirmed the cancelation is in effect for GTCC.

GTCC Director of Marketing and Public Information Stan Turbeville said the power failure was due to a substation going down near the main campus. Turbeville said a generator was late to power on.

"Our computer services went down and the plan is to have everything up by noon," Turbeville said. "The power is back on, but we're still restoring computer services."
