KING, N.C. — Police say a man died after becoming unresponsive at the Walmart in King, N.C. Saturday evening.
According to a release, officers responded to the store in reference to a trespassing call reported by store employees.
When officers arrived and made contact with the man, they say he ingested a substance and became unresponsive. Officers began CPR and called an ambulance, however, the man died on the way to the hospital.
The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the incident.
