61-year-old Winston-Salem woman found safe

Sheila Gaskins is safe and found.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — UPDATE: Sheila Denise Gaskins was found in good health as of 4:45 p.m. Saturday.

PREVIOUS STORY: Police are searching for a woman who went missing early Saturday morning in Winston-Salem, according to a police report

Authorities with the Winston-Salem Police Department said they are looking for 61-year-old Sheila Denise Gaskins.

Gaskins is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with gray and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hat, pink jacket, black pants, and plaid shoes.

Officers said Gaskins was last seen around 1:00 a.m. on the 3600 block of Cornell Boulevard. She went walking in an unknown direction and uses a walker to get around.
