HIGH POINT, NC -- New charges have been filed against the driver in a crash that resulted in the deaths of two teenagers in High Point Saturday night.

According to a news released issued by the High Point Police Department, a warrant for arrest has been issued for Dwight Gray Jr.

The 19-year-old now faces two counts of involuntary manslaughter in addition to a charge of driving while consuming under the age of 21.

The crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Whites Mill Road.

When officers arrived, they found four people inside a car that crashed into a tree.

The left rear passenger, 17-year-old Jacob Goeke, was taken to the hospital but later pronounced dead from his injuries.

On Monday, police announced a second person, 16-year-old Sami Faydi, died from injuries sustained in the crash.

17-year-old Ashley Hyde, who was riding in the front seat, was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for minor injuries.

According to police, speed and alcohol were both factors in the crash.

Investigators estimate the driver was going 105 mph before the crash happened.

According to police, these were the 10th and 11th traffic fatalities in the City of High Point this year.
