Police say one teenager is dead and another injured after a shooting took place early Tuesday in Greensboro.

18-year-old Jahed Nasir Brailey died from multiple gunshot wounds while 17-year-old Keslan Marquez Shaw suffered non life-threatening injuries.

At 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a discharge of a firearm call in the 2300 block of Juliet Place. Authorities found the two boys suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital, where Brailey succumbed to his injuries. Shaw is in stable condition. Police say the two are Greensboro residents.

An investigation is ongoing and an autopsy will be conducted. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.
