GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Gage is a 3-year-old Labrador Hound mix breed. He's a fun loving and goofy dog who loves stuffed toys.
He can be laid back for the most part! He loves to sniff and explore his surroundings but, don't worry, he'll check on you.
Gage loves attention and would love if someone could scratch under his chin and chest all day long.
He does well on a leash, and doesn't pull while walking. He can get excited and paw at someone for attention sometimes. That can be fixed though and he will keep all four on the floor if told to do so.
He hasn't had any direct interactions with dogs yet at the Guilford County Animal Services, but he does try to greet them in a friendly way. Because of this, Gage would be a good fit in a home with another dog.
This loveable guy is heartworm positive, but it's treatable and he has already started treatments.
