CHARLOTTE - Kyle Adam Maraghy, the Carolina Panthers fan who was seen punching a 62-year-old on camera at a game in October, has been sentenced.

The 26-year-old was found Guilty of Simple Assault and must spend five weekends in jail and attend anger management classes.

An Instagram video surfaced of Maraghy appearing to repeatedly hit a Philadelphia Eagles fan when the Eagles played the Panthers in Charlotte. The incident happened in the upper deck.

According to Instagram user odubco of Greensboro, Maraghy and the woman with him were standing during the game, the fan behind him "took offense to the couple never sitting down and obstructing his view" and it escalated from there.

After throwing several punches and leaving the fan bloodied, the man and woman quickly left their seats.
