WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- You never know what you'll see at a political rally - and the same goes for what you might hear.

And one music duo waiting in line to see Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama rally voters in Winston-Salem has a song that's turning heads.

"I would love for Katy Perry to cover it if she so desires," says Carly Williams. "But I write about what moves me."

Carly Williams wrote this song herself and she wrote it for Hillary Clinton.

"I'm a lyricist and that's what I do," Williams says. "This seemed to be the perfect audience for the Hillary song, for the 'Fight For Us" song.

Williams says she wants the best for her family. She has three sons and eight grandchildren.

Then there's 15-year-old Lily Maclachlan singing along.

The pair met at church.

"I'm glad I can be part of a movement," Maclachlan says.

A movement that shows others how women or really anybody can work together.

"We love music and she's amazing."

The duo has another song, a tribute to President Barack Obama, called "Aloha Obama."

They just hope their music really strikes a chord and gets people out to vote.
