RALEIGH - A Stokes County woman won the final $250,000 top prize in the Diamond Dazzler scratch-off game.
Carolyn Brown of Walnut Cove bought the $5 ticket at Kangaroo Express on South Main Street in King. Brown claimed her prize money Friday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh, taking home $176,253 after taxes.
The $250,000 Diamond Dazzler game launched in September 2017 with five top prizes of $250,000. Brown claimed the last top prize, which means the lottery will start to end the game.
