FORSYTH COUNTY, NC - A tractor trailer overturned and ran over signs in a neighborhood on Highway 150 between Oak Ridge and Kernersville early Tuesday.

The crash happened around 4:20 a.m. near the intersection of Barden Drive and Highway 150 according to the NC Highway Patrol. The driver ran off the road while coming around a curve. He collided with two brick signs and overturned in a yard. The accident was about a quarter-mile from the Forsyth Co. line.

NCHP says the driver was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The driver was charged with exceeding safe speed.

The truck was a Best Cartage company truck, a Kernersville-based business.

The truck is off the roadway, but remained on its side as crews work to clean up the spilled contents before turning it upright.
