GREENSBORO, N.C. -- All it takes is one person to make a difference in your community.

This Saturday, October 22 marks this year’s ‘Make A Difference Day.’ The day is the largest single-day of volunteering in the country.

The fourth Saturday in October is set aside every year for Make A Difference Day.

No matter who you are or where you're from, Make A Difference Day gives you the chance and power to do something that improves the lives of others.

WFMY News 2 invites you to do something this Saturday and inspire/encourage others.

On Friday, WFMY News 2 got a jump start on Make A Difference Day coming together to help Sedgefield Elementary School.

Our team provided the school with a new reading center and also helped with various outside projects at the school.
