WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Officers responded to Carver High School at 7 p.m. Tuesday night after reports of a someone being stabbed.

Investigators said two 18-year-old students got into an argument during football practice and agreed to meet in the locker room after practice to fight. During the fight, police said one of the students was cut with a knife or some other type of sharp object.

Police said crews took both students to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Investigators said the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending on both parties involved.
