WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- If you've been thinking about bringing a furry friend home for the holidays, this weekend is the perfect opportunity to do so.

Forsyth Humane Society is offering 90 percent off dog and cat adoptions on Friday, December 14 and Saturday, December 15.

Cat adoption fees are only $10, and dog adoption fees are just $15.

Forsyth Humane Society says the special adoption event is made possible thanks to a generous donation.

Adoptions are same day, and first come, first serve.
