RALEIGH, N.C. -- When you think of comedian and actor Will Ferrell, you probably don't think of politics.

But the funnyman is stumping for Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in North Carolina on Saturday.

Ferrell and candidate for NC Governor Roy Cooper were at NC State's Homecoming to meet with tailgaters and encourage them to take advantage of one-stop early voting.

Ferrell will also stop at field officers in Durham and Carrboro before going door to door to talk to voters about the election.

Other politicians are stumping in North Carolina this weekend as well. Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence plans to speak at a Jacksonville rally Saturday, while former President Bill Clinton will campaign for his wife at early-vote events in Greensboro and Charlotte.
