GREENSBORO, NC -- The weather this week was incredibly warm. In fact, it was unprecedented for the month of October. Multiple records were broken as muggy, summer air sat in the Triad for several days.

Five records were set this week for warmest low temperature. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all saw the warmest temperature on record for their overnight low. In some cases, it was much more dramatic than that.

On Monday and on Wednesday, the low temperature was 73 degrees. That's the warmest low temperature for any October day in history for the Triad in more than 100 years of record keeping.

Before this week, there had been only two days in October history with low temperatures of 70 degrees or warmer. This week alone, we saw three of those days.
