GREENSBORO, NC -- The weather will be coming at us from all directions this weekend. Warm to start, then winds will whip up Saturday night, with a cold Sunday to finish it off. The WFMY News 2 Weather Team is tracking it.
A strong cold front will be heading our way throughout the day on Saturday. Partly sunny and dry throughout the morning and afternoon. The winds will start to whip up by the late afternoon and into the evening hours as the front gets closer.
Rain won't arrive until 10pm at the earliest, but when it does, it could be heavy at times. The rain will move out by 3am and 4am. High winds will be the main issue Saturday night, with wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph. You might want to secure some of your outdoor items.
Sunday will still be windy, and turning colder. Highs will be in the upper 40s and low 50s. Still breezy throughout the day.
