Panthers sign kicker Graham Gano to 4-year contract

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers announced they have signed Pro Bowl kicker Graham Gano to a four-year contract Tuesday afternoon.

The deal is reportedly worth $17 million with $9 million guaranteed, according to a report from ProFootballTalk.

Gano will be in his 10th season in the NFL, seventh with Carolina for the 2018 season. The 30-year-old kicker is coming off a career year, converting 29 of 30 regular season field goal attempts en route to being named to the Pro Bowl roster in 2017. He led the NFL in field-goal percentage with 96.7 that season.

Since joining the Panthers in 2012, Gano has made 85.3 percent (151 of 177) of his field goal attempts, according to the team's website.
