WASHINGTON, D.C., USA — President Trump welcomed the Clemson Tigers at the White House Monday night. The White House served up McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King with some pizza to the hungry football players.
Clemson defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide 44-16 to earn their second title in three years. It also capped a 15-0 season.
"A very great team, an unbelievable team," President Trump said.
The visit is a little earlier than expected. When Clemson won the title in 2017, they didn't make it up to the White House until June.
