LOS ANGELES -- Former NC State guard Dennis Smith Jr. tallied a 48-inch vertical leap at a pre-draft workout for the Los Angeles Lakers this week.

That total ties an NBA record held by Wilt Chamberlain and Darrell Griffith.

WFMY News 2's Patrick Wright decided to test his own jumping ability and see if he could match Smith. So, he went out to Proehlific Park in Greensboro to give it a try.
