WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Police are on the scene of an active investigation on Patterson Avenue Tuesday evening.
Police said the 2400 to 2800 block of Patterson Avenue has since re-opened.
Officers were asking for people to avoid the area if possible or use caution when traveling in the area.
The road closure was expected to last two hours, according to police reports.
