GREENSBORO, N.C. ---- We'll start off the week with temperatures above average for this time fo the year, but a mid week cold front will bring the week to a chilly end. High temperatures on Monday and Tuesday will be above average for this time of the year. By Thursday, temperatures will be well below average with highs struggling to make it into the mid 40s.

High pressure will remain in control Monday, leading to sunny skies and comfortable temperatures. Highs will end up in the upper 50s to low 60s for most Monday afternoon. Highs Tuesday will reach the low to mid 60s. A strong Arctic cold front will move in Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, bringing higher rain chances rain and much colder air.

Temperatures will fall dramatically throughout the day Wednesday, leading to several cold days. Highs on Thursday and Friday will be in the 40s. A disturbance will swing across the area Friday into Saturday with a chance of light precipitation. We'll keep you updated on that.
