GREENSBORO, NC -- Warm, windy, and wet weather started the Christmas weekend, but now it's all about cold air riding into town on Santa's sleigh. This chilly air will stick around all week long.
Christmas Eve was certainly colder than Saturday, but the real chill will arrive on Christmas Day with highs right around 40. Overnight lows will dip into the 20s most of next week with highs in the 30s and 40s.
The weather pattern becomes favorable for wintry weather approaching this upcoming Thursday night into Friday. It's notoriously hard to nail down any details about whether we'll see a storm, and if so, what type, but we'll keep our eyes closely tuned to the Thursday-Friday time-frame for you.
